No. PhotoClean runs 100% offline. No analytics, no cloud, no tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
Swiping left moves a photo into an in-app Trash. Nothing is actually deleted until you tap Empty Trash from the Trash screen. When you do, iOS shows one system confirmation dialog and moves everything to Recently Deleted. From there, iOS keeps the photos for 30 days so you can recover them if you change your mind.
Just open the app on the new phone with the same Apple ID — PhotoClean checks your purchase history on launch and unlocks automatically. If that doesn’t happen, go to Settings → Restore Purchase.
Only photos actually confirmed for deletion count. Items you swipe left then undo, or that are still sitting in the in-app Trash, don’t count. Only photos that reach iOS Recently Deleted count.
iCloud-only photos need to be downloaded from Apple’s servers before PhotoClean can show them. This is a network operation handled by iOS — if it’s slow, check your Wi-Fi. Photos already downloaded on-device load instantly.
